How AI is (and isn't) used here

The short version
Pulse is primarily a deterministic data product, not an AI system: grades come from a published rule engine (the Assay) over evidence — not from a model. Nothing here profiles people, infers attributes, makes automated decisions about individuals, or generates synthetic content presented as fact.
Where automation exists

Your rights under the AI Act
Because grades are deterministic, the "explanation" of any verdict is fully inspectable: every verdict publishes its reasons and the evidence it derives from — that's Article 14-level transparency by design, not a claim of compliance with a law not yet fully applicable.
Disputing an automated output
File a dispute on any lane or resource — the original evidence, your correction, and timestamps all remain public and append-only.
